What brought you to Hranipex, and how long have you worked here?
Hranipex stood out to me as a leading European manufacturer and supplier for the furniture industry. When I read the job advertisement, it was clear that the company was growing, with a lot of potential for career progression. It just seemed like an exciting, dynamic place to work—plus, the employee benefits were really attractive! I’ve now been with Hranipex for nearly 2 years and a month.
Can you describe your Hranipex journey so far and the experience you’ve gained?
My journey here has been incredibly fulfilling. Every day brings something new to learn, and our team is amazing—everyone’s always willing to help and support each other. I’ve spent time in the warehouse to understand the operational processes, travelled with our reps to gain sales experience, and met customers across Scotland (my favourite place!) and London. Now, I’m on the road connecting with all our customers in East England. I’ve also participated in trade shows and team training sessions, which have all contributed to my development.
With your new Sales Manager role, what are you most excited to implement?
I’m looking forward to building strong, trusting relationships with customers in my region. I’ve always been customer-focused, and I’m excited to dive into that even more by visiting them in person and seeing their work up close.
What goals or projects are you looking forward to tackling in your new position?
My goal is to help our region reach its full potential, which includes strengthening those customer relationships and earning their trust.
With your industry knowledge, what sets Hranipex apart from competitors?
Hranipex truly is a one-stop shop for everything needed to produce furniture—from high-quality edging to glues and cleaners that maintain machines and deliver an excellent finish. Our recent expansion into furniture fixtures and fittings enhances our offering even more, making us a comprehensive resource for the industry.
Where do you see the future of Hranipex?
I believe Hranipex’s future is very bright. We’re constantly expanding and helping more customers by offering top-quality products and expert advice, which in turn helps them grow their businesses.
What’s your favourite part about being part of the HraniTeam, and why?
It’s got to be the HraniTeam itself. We have such a fantastic group of people who genuinely support one another. We feel like family, and everyone is always willing to lend a hand. I’ve made friends for life here.
So far, what is your favourite memory at Hranipex?
Definitely my first Christmas party in December 2023. It was a blast—everyone dressed up, let loose, danced, laughed, and had a great time. Many of us ended up staying up until 4 or 5 a.m., just talking and celebrating together.
What is your proudest achievement in work and personal life?
At work, my proudest achievement is my growth within the company—I love learning and pushing myself to be my best. Personally, it’s completing the 3 Peaks Challenge for the Alzheimer’s Society. I climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon within 24 hours. It was incredibly challenging, and when I finished, I was so overwhelmed that I cried. I never thought I could accomplish something like that.
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
I’ve always loved Scotland, and my partner Ryan and I, along with our dog Oscar, go there on holiday at least twice a year. It’s also where Ryan and I got engaged. My dream is to buy a holiday home in the Highlands and eventually retire there.
